Terms & Conditions
Effective date: August 17, 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain what clients can expect when submitting an inquiry or purchasing services from Ci Sews Studio. Additional project details may appear in a consultation summary, quote, invoice, or service agreement. If a project-specific written agreement conflicts with these general terms, the project-specific agreement will control.
1. Service inquiries
To request a service, clients must complete the appropriate inquiry form on the Ci Sews Studio Services page.
After submitting a form, the client will receive an automatic confirmation email showing that the inquiry was received. This email does not mean that the project has been accepted, an appointment has been scheduled, or a booking date has been reserved.
For standard service inquiries, Cierra responds within three business days. Prom waitlist submissions receive an automatic confirmation; selected clients are contacted only if availability becomes available.
Clients are responsible for providing complete and accurate information. Missing or incorrect information may delay the response or affect the studio’s ability to accept or complete the project.
2. Consultations and project acceptance
A consultation may be required before Ci Sews Studio can accept a project, provide final pricing, or confirm a completion date.
During the consultation, the studio may discuss:
-
The requested service and design vision
-
The client’s event date and desired completion date
-
Measurements and fitting requirements
-
Fabrics, colors, embellishments, and other materials
-
The client’s budget
-
The expected project timeline
Submitting an inquiry or attending a consultation does not guarantee that a project will be accepted. Ci Sews Studio may decline a request if the service, budget, design, deadline, or required workload falls outside the studio’s availability or capabilities.
3. Quotes, bookings, and deposits
After the consultation, Ci Sews Studio may provide a written quote, invoice, or service agreement describing the approved project.
A project is considered booked only after:
-
Ci Sews Studio accepts the project in writing;
-
the client approves the project scope and pricing;
-
any required agreement has been signed; and
-
any required deposit has been received.
Some services require a deposit before a date is reserved, materials are purchased, or work begins. When a deposit is required, the client will receive written information describing the service, total price, deposit amount, remaining balance, additional charges, and the conditions under which the deposit is refundable or nonrefundable.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, the deposit will be applied toward the total project price.
4. Pricing and payments
Initial estimates are based on the information available at the time of the inquiry or consultation. Final pricing may depend on the approved design, materials, construction requirements, fittings, alterations, rush service, delivery, and other project needs.
Any significant change that affects the price or timeline will be discussed with the client before the additional work is completed.
The client is responsible for paying all agreed charges by the due dates shown in the quote, invoice, or service agreement.
5. Design approval and changes
Clients are responsible for reviewing and approving design details such as sketches, fabric, color, embellishments, and fit.
Because every piece is handmade, reasonable variations may occur between inspiration images, sketches, fabric samples, and the finished garment. Colors may also appear different on screens than they do in person.
Inspiration photographs are used as creative references. Ci Sews Studio does not guarantee an exact copy of another designer’s work.
Changes requested after a design, material, or stage of construction has been approved may require additional fees, materials, or fittings and may affect the completion date. Any added work and related charges must be approved before that work begins.
6. Measurements and fittings
Clients must provide accurate information and attend required fittings on time. When requested, clients should bring the shoes, undergarments, shapewear, or accessories they plan to wear with the garment.
Changes in measurements, footwear, undergarments, or design preferences after work begins may require additional fittings, fees, or time.
Missed or delayed fittings may affect the completion date. Ci Sews Studio cannot guarantee the original timeline when the client misses appointments or delays approvals, payments, or requested information.
7. Client-provided materials
Clients must disclose when they plan to provide their own fabric, garment, embellishments, or other materials.
Ci Sews Studio may evaluate whether those items appear suitable for the requested work but cannot guarantee the quality, durability, sufficiency, or performance of materials supplied by the client.
If additional or replacement materials are required, the studio will discuss the related cost and timeline with the client before proceeding.
8. Timelines, rush service, and delays
Project timelines depend on the approved design, material availability, scheduled fittings, timely payments, and prompt client decisions.
A requested event date or completion date is not confirmed until Ci Sews Studio accepts it in writing.
Client-requested changes, missed fittings, delayed approvals, measurement changes, shipping problems, or material shortages may affect the completion date. If a significant delay is expected, Ci Sews Studio will contact the client to discuss the revised schedule and available options.
Rush service is subject to availability and may require an additional fee.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Because custom garments and alterations are created for an individual client, cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on the amount of work completed and whether materials have already been ordered, cut, altered, or otherwise committed to the project.
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Any refund, credit, retained deposit, or remaining balance will be determined according to the written policy provided before payment, the client’s project-specific agreement, and applicable law.
10. Final fittings, pickup, delivery, and storage
The remaining balance must be paid before a completed garment is released to the client.
Clients should inspect the garment and raise any concerns during the final fitting or at pickup whenever possible. Ci Sews Studio must be given a reasonable opportunity to inspect and address concerns involving the agreed work.
Completed items must be collected within 7 days after the client is notified that they are ready. Items left beyond that period may be subject to a storage fee.
Shipping or delivery arrangements, charges, and responsibilities will be confirmed separately when applicable.
11. Clients under 18
A parent or legal guardian must participate in the booking process when the client is under 18.
The parent or guardian must approve the project terms, sign any required agreements, and accept responsibility for payments.
12. Photography and marketing
Submitting a service inquiry does not automatically give Ci Sews Studio permission to use the client’s name, image, or garment photographs for public marketing.
Photo or promotional permission should be requested separately. For clients under 18, permission must be provided by a parent or legal guardian.
Marketing emails will be sent only when the client separately chooses to receive them. Clients may unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time.
13. Form information and privacy
Information submitted through the website may be used to:
-
Review and respond to inquiries
-
Arrange consultations and fittings
-
Prepare quotes and project records
-
Communicate about requested services
-
Manage bookings and completed projects
Form responses may be processed or stored using business services such as Wix, email, and Google Sheets. Access should be limited to the studio owner and authorized people who need the information to assist with studio operations.
Clients should not submit Social Security numbers, complete payment-card details, medical records, or other sensitive information that the form does not request.
The automatic confirmation email and messages about an inquiry or active project are service-related communications. They are separate from optional promotional marketing.
14. Events outside the studio’s control
Emergencies, severe weather, illness, shipping disruptions, material shortages, and similar circumstances may require a project timeline to be changed.
If such an event affects a project, Ci Sews Studio will communicate with the client and work toward a reasonable solution. Nothing in these terms limits consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.
15. Changes to these terms
Ci Sews Studio may update these Terms & Conditions when its services or policies change. The version provided or accepted when a project is booked will continue to govern that project unless the studio and client agree to a change in writing.
16. Contact
Questions about these Terms & Conditions may be submitted through the Ci Sews Studio Contact page.
Acknowledgment
By submitting a service inquiry, the client confirms that the information provided is accurate and that they have reviewed these Terms & Conditions.
Submitting a form begins the inquiry process but does not create a confirmed booking or require Ci Sews Studio to accept the project.
